This year, our school is piloting a new Common Core-based curriculum embedded with an online component. The online component targets skills in Reading and Math on each students level.
This individualized online program covers skills that students may not have mastered in prior grades and helps them further develop their knowledge and understanding in math and reading.
We only have 5 computers for 17 students to share throughout the day. I would like to purchase 4 Chromebooks in order to give my students multiple opportunities to use this online component of our wonderful new curriculum. Students are able to use this online component at home, but many do not have the resources or technology available to them at home. With access to more technology, my students will develop the fundamental skills needed to be successful.
