We practice the Readers Workshop model in our classroom and the children are given time to sit independently and become an active and engaged reader while others are meeting in small instructional groups.
These reading pillows will make for a comfortable yet school friendly way to read and learn. After all, who doesn't want to curl up on a rug with a good book and pillows? I want to give them a special place to retreat to. My students love the opportunity to get comfortable and immerse themselves into their books. This area will also allow for small groups to gather for differentiated instruction. I try to promote a positive experience in all areas of their education.
