Having the set of iPads will allow for different structures of learning in my classroom. One way they will be used is as a center to help English language learners. Students can look up pictures of vocabulary words they might not know during English, Science, or Social Studies. We will also use them to help student decode unfamiliar words and become successful fluent readers. They also can be used as translators of reading passages within the class.
This project will be giving low-income students access to new technology as a tool to become successful fluent English speakers and readers. This is so important because these students are our future and we need them to be successful in America.
