Whiteboards are essential materials in my classroom. They are used daily by my students throughout our school day. Students work on their whiteboards during small and whole group lessons for phonics and math lessons. Typically, when I’m teaching in person, I’m able to see what my students are doing while they’re on the rug. However, during distance learning, this is not feasible. As I model the lessons during Zoom, whiteboards will be helpful for me to see my student's progress. This is particularly important as we don't have the ability to work one on one with each student.
