My students have limited resources at home due to the low socioeconomic status in their small community. Many of my students only have access to a computer or laptop at school during our one hour computer lab time daily. The use of the Chromebooks would help my students improve their computer skills as well as help them prepare for the CAASPP and STEM projects. The students will use the Chromebooks throughout the day to do research and to keep track of data on their STEM projects. They will also use them to complete tasks on Google Classroom as we work towards becoming a one-to-one classroom. I want to prepare my students for the technology skills they will need for the future.
