I have kids that are stressed to the max about testing in school and it breaks my heart. I want my students to be kids! I want my students to have fun! I want them to WANT to come to school! I think a good starting place is outside at recess. I want to supply my students with physical equipment where they can learn to play with others as teammates.
There are so many students that do no have the opportunity for extracurricular activities, this could be their time to shine! I want students to accept peers on their team and their opposing team. I want to teach students not only to lose gracefully, but to win gracefully as well. I truly believe that this mentality will transfer over into the classroom. It would truly help out class culture.
