Make a donation Mrs. Norton can use on her next classroom project.
Flexible seating will help move the fourth grade classroom from teacher centered, to student centered. Students will have the ability to choose what type of seat they would like to use...a "regular" chair or a "wobble" chair.
The donations for this project will improve my classroom by reducing the amount of behavioral issues, because I will be able to provide the appropriate stimulation that my students need.
There is research that shows students are more invested in their learning when they feel like the classroom is theirs. This will be a great step in that direction for my fourth graders. Giving them seating options will allow those who need to "move" the ability to do just that. My students will be more engaged and ready to learn!
