The books selected are all in Spanish and will be available in the 4th grade bilingual library for the use of the fourth graders. The books chosen are chapter books on topics that are of the students interest and on their reading level. It is extremely hard and expensive to get books for pre-teens. The books available in our general library are either on topics for small kids or on topics for adults. These books will spark interest in the students and make reading fun. The books will stay in the classroom at all times and will be used for their independent reading time. Students will work on book reports, vocabulary and research.
