These Mythology textbooks will make a difference in my students' learning because they will be able to read stories from different cultures around the world. The world is getting smaller. We have more global interaction than ever before. It is important for students today to be able to empathize with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. Studying World Mythology helps students learn that humans are more alike than they might realize. We all ask the same questions about life and share similar experiences as part of the human condition. We read stories from all around the world, and my students learn that there are universal themes in life that all humans share.
