Textbooks are not always the most effective ways to teach new concepts. A lot of students learn through technology and hands on activities. Our budget doesn't always allow for these creative ways to be implemented. Teachers need a safe way to access internet material to complement instruction, so I am requesting a two-year subscription to BrainPOPJr.
By having access to this wonderful tool our students will learn by not just reading, but hearing and seeing new information and ideas.
This technology tool has information on almost every state standard and objective we teach. They love it, they connect to it, and they learn from it. Children need to be given ample opportunity, this day in age, to learn to their potential. When students are excited and engaged, they are learning.
