Reading is the key to success in all areas of life. These books will give my students the exposure they need to higher level vocabulary as well as model sound syntax structure. In turn, they will be able to model what they have read in their own writing allowing them to become better writers. Students will be able to use these new skills in all classes across the curriculum such as science and social studies, thus increasing test scores as well as self-esteem.
A book can take students on a journey to self-discovery. Knowledge is often found deep between the pages of books.
