As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are often faced with many challenges. It it my biggest priority to ensure my classroom is a safe, nurturing and exciting environment for children to learn and flourish. We have an abundance of learning areas in the classroom offering a means for students to manipulate the environment through hands-on interaction.
As a teacher of young learners, i want to ensure that my students reach their full potential by exposing them to as many academic opportunities based on their interest. I feel that when children explore based on their curiosity, the learning becomes more meaningful and captivating.
