Our school is made up of students who have had the lucky chance to be selected for our creative arts magnet program. Even though we are part of a magnet a lottery program, many of our students come from challenging circumstances. Being at our school give students a chance to shine, both academically and creatively. This year, I have a classroom full of students who are eager to learn and LOVE to read! Over 75% of the students at our school come from economically disadvantaged circumstances, which presents several challenges. It is my job to provide the tools for them to be successful and I truly LOVE doing that each and every day! Whether it is new exciting technology or a classic book that can't be put down, my students genuinely enjoy learning and YOUR contribution makes their learning journey even more exciting.
