Anatomy in Clay with the requested student model kits, body system dvds, a conversion kit, an atlas set of cds, and basic tool sets will help my students to build a fundamental understanding of the human body by allowing them to create 3 dimensional, interactive models of the various systems in the body. It will also give them the opportunity to visually analyze the complexity of the human body. This will give them a greater appreciation for the processes that their bodies go through every day.
I believe that using this models will help engage my students in human anatomy and physiology. My hope is that when the students are able to see a tangible and manipulatable model of the body, it will spark a desire to learn more. This will help encourage them to study harder and hopefully move some of them in the direction of the medical field.
