Right now I have a cheap rug and two pillows that the students fight over. I would love to turn the classroom library into an inviting place where my students would want to go to escape in their stories. When I read one on one with my student who can't read, I use the white board a lot to write the words he is learning out on a nice big board. I only have one, so finding it can be difficult sometimes.
My students struggle with reading and I want them to learn to enjoy a good book. I think a good start to that would be a cozy space for them. They can snuggle up with some pillows and read to each other. I want to make a jungle themed area with a tree canopy hanging over them, so this jungle looking rug would really help with that too.
