My students are very visual when it comes to learning. They love to work hard with their hands and relate their experiences to what they have performed and accomplished with their hands. We recently engineered and launched 2-liter bottle rockets using an air compressor and to see their faces during their launch was priceless. We would now like to expand our horizons and begin programming whilst continuing with the engineering practices.
The LEGO Mindstorms kits are perfect for out students given their unfamiliar background in computer/engineering programming. It is very user/student/kid friendly and highly motivational for the students to want to have success in this field.
