The students will use the white boards and markers for daily use when learning new vocabulary and how to spell words using sounds.
The students will use the binders to create a portfolio of work as they progress through each of the habitat units this year! We study the forest, the ocean and the African savanna! They will be adding all of their work to the binders to track their growth as they prepare for 1st grade.
The white crates will be used in the classroom to keep their Literacy Work Stations organized and easily accessible. They will be color-coded to match their personalized goals so that they can become independent learners and work on activities that are specific to what they need to learn and grow.
Glue sticks are always a necessity in our classroom as I try to bring in as much art and hands-on activities as I possibly can! My class is made up mostly of English learners and visuals are a huge aspect in their language acquisition.
