This sewing club is the initiative of 2 teachers who sincerely believe that learning the art of Sewing will be a lifelong learning experience for these students who volunteered to join the club to learn the art of sewing. It's ability to incorporate manipulatives aids in relaxation of the mind - needed due to excessive stress encountered from academic work. Currently the 2 of us have supplied from our own personal resources the following items: 4 Sewing machines Needles Pins Threads, fabric Scissors Tape Measures Cutting Board Dress Form (size 8) Bobbins Steam Iron Ironing board Rulers We are desperately need of more.
