During their time in second grade, I would love for my students to learn new reading strategies that they can use independently. With these books, I hope to demonstrate these new skills as we learn through a variety of texts including fiction and nonfiction, multicultural texts. My students love to read and love to listen to others read! With these books, there would be a new variety of books in the classroom library that we couldn't find in our school library. These books will relate to our core reading curriculum to help our students better understand our new reading and comprehension strategies for the year.
