The bean bags and cushions I have requested will help students who need their own place to work and will give students more seating to chose from during reading time.
New seating will allow my students the opportunity to have a variety of places to sit in the classroom. Allowing students to work in a variety of spaces, helps them increase their ability to focus on their work.
Students will enjoy comfortable seating during our daily independent reading time. In order for students to improve their reading, they have to have the opportunity to practice reading at their independent reading levels daily. Special seating will help make this time of day even more enjoyable.
