Currently in my classroom we only have 1 copy of the book "Wonder." For this novel study, I would like each student in the class to be able to hold their own book, read as a team and discuss the book openly. Students can explore new vocabulary and be more engaged in their learning when the book is in their hands. This year our school lost Title 1 funding. This impacts the amount of money and help our school gets. Students that were once receiving help from a Title 1 teacher will not be getting that extra support. This book is one that a variety of my previous students have enjoyed. It would be an engaging, real life type of book for my students that don't always enjoy reading and those who do.
