This Sensory Station room will greatly help all of the students (sixth grade, seventh grade, and eighth grade) at my school. These students who are dealing with multiple stressors, emotional and sensory needs on a daily basis, and need a space where they can calm down in order to be successful during the school day. Using this space for relaxation and self-regulation are just two of the many great things this space will do for our kiddos! Creating a sensory room is very beneficial for students of all ages but unfortunately can be very expensive. Lighting that slowly changes colors, bubble tubes, calming scents, pop its, music, weighted blankets, bean bags, fidgets and other pieces of equipment designed for calming are what these kids need. I would greatly appreciate your help in order to get the equipment that will best support my students.
