This year I am striving to focus on more small group interactions for my students. Using technology in this type of group allows my students to not only interact with each other but to also to use a hands-on approach to skills they may not be familiar with. I am asking for one IPad and an Osmo Genius Kit.
Osmo educational systems are a great component to the iPad. They allow students to work on math skills, reading, writing and spelling and its all through games. What makes Osmo unique is that students are able to manipulate manipulatives on the table and then the manipulative moves on screen. Students are able to create and work through challenges all while problem solving and playing. It really is the best of both worlds. Having this technology would be a huge benefit to my small group efforts.
