This culminating project requires students identify essential skills, interest and abilities and relate them to a medical career they choose. The information will then be presented at our annual Career Exhibition Night to an authentic audience. To ensure that students conduct successful presentations we research and analyze techniques that are present in a good quality formal presentation. This includes learning about body language, posture, eye contact, dressing for success, visual aids, using images sparingly, to name a few. During the Career Exhibition night invitees will judge/critique student overall work. The components of the projects that are graded include: tri-fold, presentation information, appearance, and body language. My students need tri-fold presentation boards to exhibit their research findings to community members, parents, teachers and administration.
