As you see in the class picture, the students standing do not have a computer and/or internet access at home! We would love to have some tablets to use as a Literacy Learning Center in our classroom. This need would allow my students the ability to learn by seeing, touching and hearing all while learning about technology!
The internet can take students places they've never been with virtual field trips and hands-on learning . Most students learn best by using as many senses as possible. A tablet will benefit all learner's needs by providing activities that they see, hear and can manipulate. What a wonderful way to learn....Touch, Scroll, Learn and Grow!
