I have 20 students in my classroom who are eager to learn whatever is presented to them. They don't let their "status" determine their education. They show up and are ready to learn how to read, write, and do mathematics. We are not only teaching academics, but also teaching what it is like to become a responsible, caring individual both inside the classroom and in our community.
We are a Title I school where 51% of our students receive free or reduced lunches.
