The class library, with leveled reader books, would improve the students capability to learn to read. It will gradually let them realize that reading can be a great experience and something that they will be successful with. The library would offer a variety of genres for students to choose from. They will be able to learn about countries, sports, fiction, fantasy, and poetry. The reading center will provide time for students to listen to and enjoy various books on tape. The computers would allow for all students to meet their goals on our schools internet programs. Also, the computers will allow more students to access the reading programs each day. When I take time to read I get in a comfortable, quiet space so that i can enjoy my reading time. I would like to provide this same experience for my students by creating a space with comfy pillows for them to relax and read.
