First grade is all about reading and my goal is to make reading instruction fun, engaging, and effective through technology! My students love technology and I would love to incorporate more technology into my reading instruction through the use of 5 Amazon Fire Kids Kindles. These would allow my students to select exciting grade level books to read, listen to books read aloud, and practice reading skills through the use of games and apps. These kindles would be used in small groups during our Daily 5 Instruction time and be used in our classroom library. Help my students learn to read and develop a love of reading through the use of technology!
