We all learn differently, so why can't we have different seating options available?! This year, our classroom is all about CHOICE, so having a variety of amazing seating choices gives my students the freedom to find a comfy seat somewhere in our classroom. We are requesting a variety of seating options, including cushions, stools, balance balls and lap desks. As Fifth graders, we need our space, so working at a desk might not be the best fit for everyone. This flexible seating project, will help my learners become more successful in my classroom, because we are not all comfortable sitting in a chair, at a desk, all day! Floor cushions are perfect for students who want to work on the floor. Lap desks are awesome for students that love to work on their computer. A balance ball is fabulous for my student that cannot sit still.
