I always try very hard to provide my students with books and materials that they are interested in and that are at their level. However, with 20 students and a small book shelf I instantly run out of space to display all the books I find so that they can navigate the books easily. These book bins will allow me to give each student their own individual bin that they can use to go "shopping" to choose their own books to put in their bin. I can also add books to each child that I know they might enjoy and that is at their independent level. They then have one place they can go to quickly and easily to find books that will allow them to feel successful and excited about reading.
