My students have diverse needs and often use the art supplies to show their knowledge through drawing or coloring. We use art supplies to work on word work, to illustrate pictures to write about and to work with math centers. We use the markers, colored pencils, and crayons during math centers and literacy centers.
The art supplies I am requesting for my classroom will allow my students to express their learning and knowledge in many different ways.
My students also use the art supplies during free choice time and choose to use the supplies to make cards for other students or draw pictures.
