I feel that Brainpop Jr. is a great program that will get my students excited about learning about history and Social Studies. The videos are short, very informative, and to the point. Students can also relate to many of the topics because they are written in a language that kids can understand. The quizzes are exceptional and get students excited about being challenged and they can see their results right away. They can review what questions that they missed and correct their mistakes. This program is fun and challenging for students but it is not so overwhelming that they get bored or frustrated. The games are also fun and have a purpose and goal towards a learning outcome. This program has so many outlets for my students and covers many of our California State Standards.
