Hello! I am a Speech and Language therapist at a public school in the South Bronx. I serve students with autism, Down Syndrome and other disabilities. They range from grades kindergarten to 3rd grade. Our school is fairly new and short on supplies. I often create communication books for our non to minimally-verbal students to have a voice. We have been working extremely hard to get our kids communicating at school and in the community to help give them a better quality of life, as well as facilitate their independence.
