As we all know, not every student learns in the same way. In order to get the best work from my students I want to give them every opportunity to be comfortable within my classroom and a lot of times this means not sitting at a desk or in a hard chair. Many students have short attention spans and a change in their seating options gives them an outlet for the energy they must hold in throughout the day. I want to give my students the opportunity to continue learning while giving them options to choose where this learning happens. These options include having a ball chair, scoop seat, or a stool. I would also love to have the option to give my students with attention issues the opportunity to try out bouncy bands which allow students to continue sitting in their chairs but bounce and release bottled up energy. I appreciate any help that you choose to give my students.
