Our students are in a CTE program that focuses on various STEM fields. Along with learning about the fields, students also participate in hands-on activities to see what kinds of challenges engineers face in the real world.
Students have a higher chance of retaining information through doing, and increases the likeliness to pursue higher education in one of the STEM fields. The donations will be used to create learning experiences that help students to develop technical skills, as well as spark interest in engineering and technology.
We would like to be able to have students to create projects to show them that engineering and technology is not something that only genius can accomplish. With the tools and materials, students will be able to learn about programming and building robots that use sensors to navigate obstacles and detect light sources.
