Books are always a great way to escape from stresses that might be overwhelming. Reading about great people and what they accomplished is an opportunity for students to see the positive impact that a single person or event can have on our lives.
If we can put an emphasis on positivity our students will be able to feel as though they can change the world and instill positivity in others. Change can be made in many different ways and through different avenues of life.
I hope to instill in them that changes can be made through literature, science, history. math and any other way that their imagination will take them. They need to grow strong in their own convictions and not rely on others.
