The trapazoid tables and chairs will be a start to transforming the classroom into a 21st century classroom and out of the 1960s. Students need to be engaged in discussion and have the ability to change seating throughout the class period. The jobs students will have in the future require discussion and collaboration to reach their goals. The 1960s classroom set up is not conducive to teaching the 21st century skills needed to accomplish achieving the necessary skills for the future. Unfortunately, with the school budgets the districts are struggling to keep up with the basic upkeep of schools basic functions and not changing classroom environments.
About my class
