All students in this classroom require frequent and multiple sensory breaks per day in order to help them calm, focus, and regulate behaviors. The items in this list such as the bean bag chair, swing, scooter board, theraputy, activity box, and blue light machine will help to provide options for each individual child as they each have individual sensory needs. The individual work station desks and stability ball chairs will also help with their ability to complete work free from distractions, while also working on their stability and movement control. These items truly will help to build an amazing sensory space for my students with Autism.
