The STEM kits will be used as culminating activities for our chapter lessons to tie the entire unit together and to get students engaged in fun, hands-on activities that relate to each topic. By having our own kits, students will not have to merely watch video of students putting together STEM projects but will be able to engage in the building themselves.
Students will learn that they have the ability to build things that can change our world for the better and can help to solve real world problems. They will learn about the challenges our world faces and work to find solutions to these problems.
