Ghent school is a K-8 school that accepts students from all over Norfolk, Virginia. We are not designated to any neighborhoods and instead our families apply and go through a lottery system. Our incoming Kindergarten students are chosen randomly through a drawing. Because students are from all over the city, we have a very diverse student body. We are located within a large military city and have many students that are in military families. Our school hopes to create a place where students can work together and grow. We strive for a safe and loving atmosphere where students feel comfortable and welcomed.
I am a special education teacher at my school who currently works with 1st, 2nd, and 5th grade students.
