This year I have restarted a band program at my school after many years.Students have been so excited to be able to be in a band program. Students involved in band meet for an hour every day and many student choose to stay after school for extra practice. It has been so exciting watching students get involved in the program and become passionate about band. As excited as I am to have so many new students enrolled in band, my program does not have enough instruments to serve all of my students. Since my school has not had a band program in past years the instruments we have are old and many of them do not work. New instruments would help the band program grow and succeed.
