Have you ever wondered if you solved a math problem correctly? Well now my students will know. I plan to let students use these calculators while at school and at home to check their math problems. This will give the students an opportunity to find and correct mistakes made on their work before turning it in to be graded.
Most of my students by the time they enter my classroom have never used a calculator. The use of a calculator will allow students to become familiar with them for a future math classes. Also, students will be allowed to use them on the math SOL test and need to be able to use them with ease.
Thank you for considering this mission possible to make learning math with a calculator a reality.
