High school seniors with ready access to Google applications and the Internet can do anything! Besides writing and creating and collaborating, they can access invaluable post-secondary resources, such as the Google Classroom dedicated to finding college scholarships run by our counseling center. Chromebooks are not to be underestimated! This inexpensive technology is truly an equalizer; it allows the student on free and reduced lunch to learn and contribute and produce right alongside the student with a softly glowing apple on her personal device. Having a small collection of Chromebooks would help me to establish 21st century equity and access in my public high school classroom.
