I am a first year teacher trying to build my classroom library. In this pandemic and being face to face since August, we have been utilizing the library as best as we can. However, books that have been checked out are required a sitting period, which makes it difficult to have enough books for our school community.
If I can build a classroom library, this will help my children be able to have a book of their own to take home and read more than twice a week.
All the books I have chosen are highly sought after and also teach a lesson. These books were chosen by them and I look forward to seeing their faces if this wish is granted.
Thank you and if this project is not what you are looking to fund, please consider other grants that my colleagues have written, as we are a Title One school in need of assistance, as our population continues to grow.
