I have used various flexible seating tools in my class to help my students focus. I have found both wiggle cushions and workout balls have helped my students who have special needs or difficulty focusing more successful. The challenge with the workout balls is they pop and roll around. The cushions allow limited movement.
Research shows these wiggle chairs help with focus for students with various needs. I also feel they are more practical for the classroom since they don't roll around or pop. That being said, they are more expensive than the inflatable products I've purchased to help with focus. Since I have several students with identified special needs (ADHD, Autism, etc) and some students not identified with focus problems these wobble chairs are greatly needed.
