Research has shown that students with autism, ADHD, and other learning differences benefit from sensory "brain breaks." Sensory experiences help students generate language, retain information, and increase their time on task thresholds.
With these materials, our students will have the opportunity to learn through movement, collaborate with other students, and learn to self regulate through sensory interventions.
The hammock, trampoline, and flexible seating options give our students the ability to sooth and avoid sensory overload. The fidgets and lights, provide our students the opportunity to self regulate through a calming experience, allowing them to refocus. The weighted blanket and weighted lap snake give our students another chance to refocus, creating a more inclusive classroom.
