I teach 5th grade ELA/Social Studies to a diverse group of learners. My goal is to expose them to a diversified learning environment where they discover their voice, as well as becoming deep thinkers while discovering a love of reading and our history.
I teach at a 95% Native American, Title I school where all students receive free breakfast and lunch and many are part of the weekend backpack program.
We have 5 federal housing projects feed into our school, which makes up 80% of our population.
Our students are eager to learn and enjoy hands-on learning experiences.
