I am planning to start a "Roots and Shoots" Chapter at our school. "Roots and Shoots" is a youth focused initiative from the Jane Goodall Institute that encourages children to stand up and take action to solve environmental problems they see in their own communities. Books are a wonderful way to open children's eyes to the beauty of our planet and the responsibility we all bear to take care of it. This book collection will be used to both educate and inspire our students to do their part in contributing to a kinder, cleaner, and healthier world.

About my class
