Getting a working laptop in our classroom will open a whole new world! We currently have what we lovingly refer to as a glorified paperweight (a laptop that is so old it cannot connect to the Internet). This limits many of the possibilities we have for 21st Century Learning. "If we teach today's students, as we taught yesterday's, we rob them of tomorrow." -John Dewey I am hoping that with the addition of a working laptop that can connect to the Internet, we will open many possibilities. I am interested in exploring Skype with my students to support our Immigration Unit. I believe that celebrating the diversity and learning about cultures from around the world will help my students improve academically in so many ways!
