One of the main difficulties my students face each day is being able to attend to a task completely. Sensory input can help them with this. My students seek sensory input throughout the day and they would really benefit from having access to sensory toys. These items will also increase students' fine motor abilities. Students will have less anxiety and increases attention when completing tasks. Having safe, fun, kid-friendly sensory activities in the classroom is very important when teaching children with special needs. It is my hope that these new sensory materials will help students not only learn kindergarten skills but also give them a safe place to go with their busy hands as needed. My hope is that these items will help my students be successful learners in our school community! Thank you for considering my project!
